In 2024, Casaluci completed the creation of a highly innovative hybrid multimodal operating room. This room represents one of the most advanced achievements in the Italian healthcare sector, combining Siemens’ cutting-edge technology and our integrated design to meet the growing demands of complex interventions. The room is equipped with an ARTIS pheno® robotic angiography system, designed for high-precision hybrid surgical procedures. Additionally, a SOMATOM® CT Sliding Gantry computed tomography system was installed, positioned between two identical hybrid operating rooms and separated by an air-tight door with a three-panel x-ray shield.

Furthermore, the room features SINTESY, a modular system for operating rooms, intensive care units, and emergency departments, which optimizes space and resource management. The integrated workstations offer high-quality HD recording and a touchscreen interface via the Medical Panel PC, complete with an anti-reflective screen and a keyboard for precise data entry.

The implementation of this hybrid multimodal room reduces intervention times, minimizes risks associated with patient transfers and prolonged procedures, and allows for continuous and integrated monitoring of patient conditions. These advanced technologies support less invasive procedures, contributing to quicker recovery times and improved postoperative outcomes.

The project also includes painted stainless steel walls and stainless steel doors, an air-tight ceiling for environmental control, and RGB lighting for adjustable illumination. In conclusion, this project highlights Casaluci’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the healthcare sector, providing solutions that optimize surgical processes and enhance the quality of care.
